About these terms
These terms of use apply between you, the user of this website, and Cirrus Selection Limited (“Cirrus Selection”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the owner and operator of www.cirrusselection.co.uk (the “Website”). They cover the Website and its sub-domains, unless a sub-domain or linked site has its own terms.
Please read these terms carefully, as they affect your legal rights. By using the Website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website.
These terms cover use of the Website only. Our recruitment services to clients are governed by our separate terms of business, and Cirrus Elevate coaching bookings are governed by the terms shown when you book.
Information on the Website
The content on the Website, including our insights and career advice, is for general information only. It is not professional, legal or financial advice, and you should not rely on it as such. Although we aim to keep it accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that it is.
Job adverts are provided in good faith on behalf of our clients. Roles may be filled, changed or withdrawn at any time, and publication of an advert does not guarantee an interview or offer of employment.
Jobs pages and registering with us
Our live jobs, job applications and candidate registration are provided through a platform operated by our recruitment software provider. When you use it, these terms and our Privacy Notice apply, along with any additional terms shown on that platform.
- You must make sure the details you give us, including your CV, are accurate, complete and your own, and tell us about any changes.
- We will always agree with you before we send your details to a client for a specific role.
- We may suspend or close your registration if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or given false information.
- You can ask us to close your registration at any time by emailing enquiries@cirrusselection.co.uk. This does not affect your statutory rights.

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, page layout and underlying code (“Content”), unless uploaded by users, is owned by or licensed to Cirrus Selection, and is protected by copyright, trade mark, database and other intellectual property rights. Some images are UK Ministry of Defence Crown Copyright and are used under licence. Nothing on the Website grants you any licence to use any trade mark, logo or Content without the owner’s prior written permission.
You may, for your own personal, non-commercial use, view the Content on screen, print a single copy, and share links to our pages. You must not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy, distribute or use any Content for commercial purposes without our written permission. This includes using the Content to train or develop artificial intelligence systems, or extracting it through automated means such as scraping.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Website:
- in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the Website or interferes with anyone else’s use of it;
- in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, harassing or threatening, or that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- to send or upload any virus, malware or other harmful material, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its server or any connected system;
- to submit false information or information about another person without their permission;

Links to other websites
The Website links to other sites, such as our jobs platform, the Cirrus Elevate website, LinkedIn and client websites. Unless stated otherwise, these are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them, and a link does not mean we endorse them.
Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal data, including information you give us through the Website, and how we use cookies. It forms part of these terms.
Availability of the Website
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors, viruses or other harmful content. You are responsible for protecting your own devices and data, for example by using up-to-date security software.
We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the Website at any time without notice. These terms continue to apply to any updated version of the Website unless we say otherwise.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- any business losses, such as loss of profits, income, revenue, anticipated savings, business, contracts, goodwill or opportunities;
- loss or corruption of any data, database or software;
- any indirect or consequential loss or damage;
- any loss arising from events beyond our reasonable control.
If you use the Website as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

- These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
